The plate‑cutting process is proceeding smoothly in our workshop today. We use extra‑thick wear‑resistant plates for double‑cylinder shears, so we adhere to the traditional oxy‑fuel flame‑cutting process. As recommended by the steel‑plate manufacturer, wear‑resistant steel plates require pre‑heating before cutting to fully release internal stress. This fundamentally prevents cold cracks after welding! It ensures all steel‑plate components resist cracking and deformation under long‑term heavy‑load conditions. Moreover, after cutting, the plates must be placed in an insulation box or covered with thermal‑insulation cloth for heat‑retention treatment.
